On 7th of March 2016, the ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Lebanese Republic, Aghasalim Shukurov met with the Minister of Agriculture, Akram Chehayeb.

A. Shukurov emphasized the need of cooperation in the agricultural sector taking into consideration the 9 out of the 11 climate patterns and regional landscape found in Azerbaijan.

A. Chehayeb announced the sample of Memorandum of Understanding will be introduced to Azerbaijan for building joint team between Lebanon and Azerbaijan in the agricultural sector.
